The children delighted the crowd with Strauss´Emperor Waltz, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance and a group of Colombian master pieces. Alejandro Angel Escobar Solidarity Award 2015
On September 30 during a ceremony held at EAFIT University the 2015 Alejandro Angel Escobar Solidarity Award was presented to Notes for Peace Foundation. EAFIT is a recognized Colombian university located in the city of Medellín. The Alejandro Angel Escobar Awards established 60 years ago are the most important recognitions in the science and solidarity categories in Colombia. View Gallery
2015 Concert at Campestre Country Club
On October 17 Notes for Peace was invited to offer a concert at the Members Gala at Cali´s Campestre Country Club. It was a nice concert, in which children were noted for their elegance, tuning and joy. The audience was very attentive and their applause was a clear sign of appreciation and enjoyment. View Gallery
Concert at the River Boulevard on December 8
On December 8, Notes for Peace Orchestra performed a Christmas concert at the River Boulevard next to the Ermita Church (in the heart of Cali, where the Christmas lighting is located). A big crowd gathered and enjoyed their music. View Gallery
Christmas trip to Pance
On December 10, all students were invited to a Christmas pool day at the Comfandi Club in Pance(an outdoor center located south of Cali), where they could enjoy water and court games, delicious snacks and lunch, and a variety of raffles and gifts. View Gallery
Trip to Santa Marta
Sixty members of the Notes for Peace advanced orchestra visited Santa Marta on February, during 3 days. This was a recreational trip offered by the Foundation as a reward for their effort and dedication. The children were notable for their joy and excellent behavior while most of them enjoyed the ocean for the first time. The city of Santa Marta is located in Northern Colombia on its Atlantic coast and is known for its beaches. View Gallery
